The existing platform suffered from poor performance metrics, including slow Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Interaction to Next Paint (INP). These issues negatively impacted SEO and user experience. The root causes included bloated JavaScript bundles, excessive third-party content loading, and outdated legacy code such as jQuery.
The vision we had was to transform Upstep’s digital platform into a fast, responsive, and SEO-optimized experience. We aimed to eliminate technical bottlenecks, modernize the codebase, and deliver a streamlined, user-centric journey- from onboarding to product delivery.
We optimized and modernized Upstep’s custom orthotics platform to ensure high performance and scalability. The improvements included replacing legacy code, reducing JavaScript bundle size, implementing SSR enhancements, and streamlining resource loading - resulting in better SEO, faster load times, and an improved customer journey
